Time Magazines TOP 50 Websites 2007
by Peter Ricci, on 21st July, 2007 • 9 Comments
Real Estate websites figured heavily in the Time Magazines TOP 50 Websites of 2007. Redfin, ZipRealty, Buyside Realty, Cyberhomes, Zillow and Property Shark all made the top 50.
But what if we were to name our Top 50? As much as I do go on about how poor many real estate agent websites are in Australia - we absolutely crush Americans. Without doubt if you want a tacky looking site you only need to look to America. There are more Tammy Faye Bakkers’ than you can poke a stick at, what is with the hairstyles over there? Australia and the UK are probably the two best countries in relation to Agents websites, but that is because more agents here understand just how important a marketing tool their websites (and systems) are.
Despite their woes McGrath do have a nice little website but what of others? Send me some links to other websites you do like, even if it is your own.

Grrrrr, thought I’d check out that redfin and my browser isn’t supported on the search page, In this day and age Safari on my Mac should be a tested browser.

Rick be careful not to do this again. You may publish comments and add your url to your comments but I try to keep this site clean of promotions. By all means use it in context, but be prepared for some tough responses.

Some nice bells and whistles
Liked the most popular properties functionality.
Intensely dislike the lack of real pricing info on the listings.
What is with all this Price over rubbish???
How much over? Cant an mcgrath agent price a property for listing??
Puts me off….smells of ripoff, upselling, playing buyers off etc etc

I tend to agree with Peter, in generally the US property sites could take a leaf out of the Australian market place and produce better site,it jusy goes to show that they may have silicon valley, but application is a differant world.
