Being tied to an office & clock is a thing of the past in Real Estate and a number of other fields. Progressive Managers like my new one at Biggin & Scott Carnegie (I recently left C21 Carnegie which has closed) provide the tools and environment to achieve without the requirement to keep office hours. Result is a happy, positive & motivated sales team who’s attitude shines through to clients.

I think a lot of industries will (or at least should) go this way. Mobile lenders are similar in that they can work from home and structure their day however they like as long as they keep hitting their targets. Why have them coming into the CBD or branch everyday when they don’t need to?

PS. I like the interview style of posting, more of the same would be great.

Thank you for sharing your views. I have always believed the Internet is the way to go & am endeavouring to move more to the non-office based staff. Unfortunately in Tasmania people move slowly & it is all an education process for the Vendors in particular – they still see media as the most important way to show their properties!! Time will show them differently – I will share your views with my sales staff & again many thanks.
