How inventive! Homehound are now offering Premium listings for $50.00. I have been saying for a while that these new sites will not be able to help themselves.
Why it will work
It won’t, you are not going to get agents paying $50 to promote listings on a site that is yet to give them any real results in terms of enquiries from advertising for nothing!
The best idea for this site would be to continue to build listings, generate consumers to their site, give agents real results and then start this.
I hope I dont go to the site only to see the owners (portals) listings being promoted because that will just mean many private agents will leave! Especially when private agents are a bit dubious already of the site.
I will keep a sharp eye on them, time will tell if I am right!
