Firefox 2.0 Browser is here

Today marks a pretty significant step forward for Firefox Browser – The FREE browser underdog who has forced Microsoft to update the Internet Explorer Browser. Firefox has become a favourite with software developers with CNET quoting over 50% of developers using it.

If you are serious about the Internet, I suggest you download Firefox (you can use it alongside Internet Explorer) and make sure you check out extensions and install all major add ons…..

Testing your Site
You should also make sure your website is compatible with both Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2, if your site has bee developed by someone who knows what they are doing you should not have any problems….

    Not bad, something bothers me about the way Firefox renders the screen but it is damn fast I have to say and seems they have fixed a few rendering issues they had with 1.x versions.

    I always thought the main problem was the memory leaks as Firefox is pretty memory intensive. However, I have two machines running different versions and it does not seem as bad now….I do know there are alot of variables for this test though….I like it I must say and I am a favourite of Firefox – so I am a bit biased here.

    IE + 7 just does not feel as good.
