The Real Estate Industry- 2023.

3 minute read

I went to the year 2023 to check out the Real Estate Industry.

The web landscape is vastly different since Facebook was completely taken over by “BrainWave”, the portal of choice by over 7 billion minds.

Some say it was the” Pineal Search System” that defined its success. The “Accessible Imaginator” on the 2016 released “I Wallet” had taken touch to a whole new dimension.

Most didn’t like it at first. Imagine attaching a bug to your forehead. In India, there were cries of blasphemy, but it was taken up readily when the Krishna App came out, that saw a new surge in spirituality around the globe. Besides, unlike “The Chip” that never really found its way, the “Accesible Imaginator Bug” could be removed anytime. (most left it on, however, when they realized the system actually could work independently of any other hardware, incuding the “I Wallet”)

Google had been dead for 3 years now. They didn’t see the Facebook Revolution for all it could do and by the time they had reorganised there Social Function and gained the trust back after their disastrous “WE.KUBTU” experiment (We Know You Better than You) in 2015, Facebook had filled the gaps.

But “BrainWave” combined with the “I Wallet” had applications that released humanity from the boredom of constructing questions. Subliminal thought patterns could now be deconstructed before the user even knew what they were thinking. “Pre-thought” was the new catchcry amongst developers. The thing about “Pre-thought” is that takes the query the user never even knew they had. Never knew they had, because of ego restraints and constant bombardment of outside desire marketing.

(By the way-Nobody ever found out who actually developed the Brainwave software coding.)

The big winners have been the little guys. The ones with the products that they always believed in based on their own needs, regardless of reward. The ones with the epiphanies, that stuck to their guns and didn’t produce based on the desires of Humanity and the short term reward market, but the needs of the soul.

Nobody fought harder than the Material Wealth Industries. Marketing campaigns based on desire and materialism fell down like tin soldiers. Boards were sacked that didn’t embrace the change. Changes were made. Industry had to find its soul.

Funnily enough, The Real Estate Industry, after an initial mass panic and implosion of self pity and outward attack on the new landscape, actually benefitted the most from the paradigm shift.

Like the Food Industry, Natural of course, and the Love Philosophies, Real Estate found that it could align itself perfectly in the new dimension of Pre thought search. Humanity craved places; shelter within community, life changes with meaning and locations for living, their souls searched for. New Pre Thought portals like Deep Genetic Root Location Search, and Dream Life Niche Home Finder took off. Real Estate Agents became, quite literally, life changers.

Footnote from 2035…
The world doesn’t look like it will be the same again. The internet is reportedly going to officially die in three years, as users have found that not only can they work with the bugs linking multiple minds together, independent of the web, but some are even now beginning to see without the Accessible Imagintor Bugs.
The circle is nearly complete some say…

Full marks for originality – “the singularity is near” etc etc and onwards.

I thought some article writers on B2 had too much enthusiasm for social media in it’s relevance to real estate businesses ( exaggerrated) – but I must give the gold medal to you for running with the ball and on into an entirely new dimension! Strange but refreshing. I am imagining the “borg” alien race from Star Trek as real estate agents – perfect for dealing with those pesky tenants that cause so much headache!

    Thanks Shane!

I will use that in my CV…Strange but Refreshing!

It’s Real Estate Jim, but not as we know it…

Maybe a Real Estate Portal will be just that, a Real Portal…
Instead of a contact form you can be “Beamed In” to the property or even a 3D representation, somehwere in the torsion field…

    ok…i will stop!

    Interesting Article Andy,

What I found most interesting was the lack of responses…. One of the things that I find most interesting about this blog site is the wealth of knowledge contributed to it by experienced real estate agents. There is always a comment about how this or that agency practice worked well in the past or may work well in the future. However when you ask agents to imagine the future of the industry a lot can’t imagine the changes that are lets face it are around the corner.

Last year there was an article about the life of the future salesperson, taking photo’s and downloading from their car to the office and being ready for the next presentation and in reality we are very close to that now.

There may be a lot of red wine in what you have said but are your comment s to extreme or do you just have the dates wrong??

    Hi Ian,
    i agree

The future can only ever be what we imagine.

If we are stuck in the present paradigm dictated by the past and can’t imagine a future we want, then we will continue to get what we have.

Everything we enjoy today comes from somebody’s dreams, everything we will enjoy tomorrow will come from somebody’s dreams, they could be your own.

Maybe i just have the dates wrong ! I can’t remember, it was all so exciting and my iphone stopped working because it was obsolete at the time…

Sometimes the best methods are those tried and true.

My area of expertise is banking and finance. As a young enthusiastic banking senior executive, together with some contemporaries we rewrote the way banking and finance was done in Australia from the mid 80’s to 2008. We took people out of the front line and replaced them with new technology. We ignored the pleas from the business community and the ordinary punter in the street for 20 years as finance houses stampeded to get the fastest and prettiest systems up and running.
Then some smart young entreprenuerial bankers over the past couple of years came up with a great new idea.

Lets put our people where they can talk to the business community and the ordinary punter… and so it came to pass in 2011.

ps disclaimer- I am only Andy’s father.
